Brazil high court rules for American father in custody feud

Brazil's Supreme Court on Tuesday rejected an appeal to block the return of a nine-year-old boy at the center of a bitter custody dispute to his American father.

The ruling clears the way for US-Brazilian boy Sean Goldman to be returned to his New Jersey father.

David Goldman has waged a five-year battle to be reunited with son. The boy was brought to Brazil by his mother in 2004, where she divorced Goldman, remarried and died last year, leaving Sean in the care of his Brazilian stepfather.
